Enterprising. Adventurous. Leader.
Hello! I am Jonathan Hunter Golden.
I am a double major in marketing and communication, graduating from Wittenberg University in May 2024. At my university, I focus my education on digital media and creative brand strategy.
Currently, I am seeking internships in public relations and brand marketing. I find that these careers are leading me towards my life calling because I am a strategic thinker with a thoughtful creative mind, and I find enjoyment in executing tasks while learning and problem-solving, rather than just completing the job.

Moving from my academic and professional aspirations, I have gained experience through my volunteer ambitions as well:
Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society
This organization has provided me with the foundation to strengthen my experiences in the communication and marketing fields, and the ability to apply leadership methods to carry out projects while collaborating with others. I have served as the Brand & Identity Lead for the National Communications Committee where I have made strategic brand decisions for the organization. Recently, I took a reduced role as Special Projects to assist in ad hoc projects.

Beta Theta Pi
In 2021, I joined a fraternity focused on mutual growth, intellectual growth, trust, responsible conduct, and integrity. Throughout the chapter, I am the Public Relations Chairman and the Vice President of Recruitment. Throughout these positions, I have been employed to rethink traditional methods to promote growth and engagement. This has been accomplished through events to engage the campus community, and I have increased our social media engagement and outreach to alumni.

Wittenberg University's Public Relations Senator
Throughout my term, I have made advances to increase the visibility of the student government. This has been accomplished through a rebrand across social media networks including a logo and standardized social media design, updated promotional materials across campus, and furthered education of the senate's mission and purpose. With this position, I serve on the executive team to advocate for student concerns, and I have been included in conversations to increase student engagement since emerging from the pandemic.
With my volunteer experience, I have had the chance to collaborate with individuals to learn and improve through mentorship and critical feedback. In my work-based experience, I have sought to apply what I have learned while volunteering and bring it to the workplace. In 2021, I have had two internships focusing on both social media and marketing.
